A friend sent me one of the original wireless models, similar to the early versions before they introduced "One" or other designs. He bought it years ago for his first Xbox purchase, never used it, and kept it in its original packaging. It functions perfectly with a PC and doesn’t need the dongle that newer models require. I use it in the living room for gaming, and it offers much better range than the latest ones. There’s no drift or problems. When I press the button, it syncs instantly and starts playing.

I haven’t found any concerns beyond what might seem suspicious—everything seems wired now. The one I’m using at my PC is connected directly via USB cable, without batteries, keeping it lighter.

I’m surprised how fast this drift issue developed. I noticed it a week ago, and now my BG3 character moves straight ahead without any input.
