PC game and Steam controller compatibility on Windows 10 and Linux
Hello everyone! I own a PC game called STALKER clear sky, purchased via Steam on my Windows 10 hard drive. I haven't tested all 83 of my Steam games, but I've managed to get my Steam controller to work with everything. The only issue is with the stalker game—it's the only one that doesn't respond properly.
It's interesting I downloaded it on my Linux installation, where the Steam controller functions perfectly and I can customize it normally. I'm not using a Proton driver in the Linux setup.
I'm curious how it works in Linux but not at all on my Windows 10 version. Both Linux and Windows versions were downloaded and played through Steam. I've tried various methods to fix the controller issue on Windows, but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
This game didn't originally support proper controller input, except for K&B on Windows. Have you experimented with this, using reWASD? I'm not sure if it functions correctly.
Stalker controller compatibility
Consider setting up custom Stalker controller options for PC play. reWASD might be useful if you need a preset for Stalker controller support.

I'm working on removing windows to play games on PC and it turned out well. Thanks, Metal, but this is the only game I haven't managed to get the controller for with Windows. I'm wondering why the controller works fine on Linux but not at all on Windows. Maybe Valve or the publisher did some adjustments to make it work so smoothly.
