I recently upgraded to the 5900x and 6700xt models, but the system keeps restarting. I managed to log into Windows and install some drivers when I set the RAM speeds to their lowest, yet it still crashes. I also observed that after increasing RAM speeds, depending on the frequency (like 1866MHz), it would reset repeatedly—showing the ASRock screen for a few seconds before allowing me to enter BIOS, which let me briefly access Windows before shutting down abruptly. Even with the latest BIOS update, it didn’t resolve the issue. I reinstalled Windows after resetting the CMOS battery, but that didn’t help either. My current setup is listed here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZDHGPX

It might be a thermal problem and the cooler isn't handling it well. Have you installed the new cooler and thermal paste for the latest chip?

I also use the M22 Kraken and added some thermal paste I purchased. The temperature around 40°C is typical for my previous CPU too.

The process runs smoothly at 40*c, though it's slightly elevated. If the system crashes, it will execute the necessary shutdown sequence to preserve data and stability. Let me walk you through each stage.

@Jimkirk363 when I turn on XMP it simply activates without any effect—fans and lights turn on but then it shuts down without displaying anything on the screen. If I attempt to restart it, the same happens. By default, it shows the boot-up interface but once the Windows loading circle appears it restarts again, repeating this a few times before powering off. Previously, after removing one RAM stick for testing, I managed to keep it running long enough for downloads, but when playing a game it immediately turned off upon launching.

By now I'm fairly certain it's a bad power supply unit. It seemed to begin acting up right after I replaced the CPU.
