I reached out to MSI, Corsair, and Intel to seek assistance with my setup. I also described the issue I’m facing. Below is a summary of my system configuration:

- Motherboard: MPG Z590 Gaming Carbon WiFi
- CPU: Intel Core i5-11600K
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro x4, 16GB total
- GPU: MSI RTX 3060 Ventus 3x, 12GB
- Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 2TB, Crucial P3 1TB, Crucial P3
- Power Supply: Corsair RM750x
- Recent changes: Installed Crucial P3 Plus 2TB, reinstalled Windows 10 on the old P3, moved boot drive to P3, added P3 Plus for gaming.

My problem began on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, after installing the Crucial P3 Plus 2TB. Initially, the system froze for 1–2 minutes, then became unresponsive. I’ve been running diagnostics and trying various configurations—switching between CSM and UEFI, moving drives, testing RAM swaps, and even resetting the BIOS. After several attempts, I installed Windows 11 on the P3 and encountered freezing during the installation process. The tests involved multiple RAM changes, boot drive adjustments, and driver updates. I’m currently preparing to reset the BIOS back to defaults and reinstall Windows 10 on the original SSD. I’ll be checking if the system freezes during these steps.

I believed it was a compatibility problem, but after verifying your motherboard, it matches the P3 requirements. Is your BIOS updated to the newest release? Also, does the SSD driver for P3 Plus work correctly? — Crucial.com | Edited October 25, 2023 by WackySpace

Hey WackySpace, Yes. The BIOS is up to date and all the drivers have been freshly installed. I have not done the drivers from the Crucial site, however even when the boot was on the SSD the freezing was still occurring.

Check if 4K alignment or TRIM is active using the command prompt: fsutil behavior set DisableDeleteNotify 0. Consider running HD monitoring software such as HD Sentinel to verify its status. Edited October 25, 2023 by WackySpace

The command prompt displays the current directory and provides options for navigating or executing commands in a terminal.

DisableDeleteNotify set to 0 turns off TRIM and disables it. Using TRIM helps extend SSD life but may cause freezing; it’s often a workaround. It can be disabled, so check with fsutil behavior query. If the result shows 0, it’s enabled. Run cmd as administrator for proper access.

I also heard that Windows 10 supports it by default, since I moved from Windows 10 to Windows 11 for testing—someone suggested that version 11 is more reliable. Could this have caused a compatibility issue? I’ll keep an eye on it later.

Use two sticks of Ram. All items are available at full price. Get off the platform and remove anything unnecessary.

This request is quite complex for me. You only require one storage for installing an OS. Two RAM sticks aren't necessary. I don’t have details on anything else you mentioned.
