PC Force turns off during Tarkov on D.O.C.P. Could it be a RAM problem?
Recently my PC would power down unexpectedly while playing Tarkov. In Event Viewer it showed "NIC Compliance," prompting a BIOS update as a possible solution. Afterwards it worked, but performance dropped noticeably since the D.O.C.P. was disabled. Restoring it back to normal caused Tarkov to crash and force shut off after about three minutes. The issue only appeared with Tarkov, not with other games like Baldur's Gate 3 or Shotgun King. My system specs are: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Vengeance LPX, 32GB DDR4, 3000mhz, 4x8GB RAM, two NVIDIA 3060 Ti GPUs, TP-Link 802.11ac adapter, 800W PSU, Windows 10 x64.
BIOS updates aren't always perfect. This might be the issue. The RAM could also be the problem. Consider running stress tests with OCCT to check for errors. It's likely the chip struggled to keep up with the clock speed due to wear. Adjusting the DRAM voltage slightly higher might improve performance.
