My computer started but showed me a fan error that I fixed. After rebooting normally, I couldn't log in because my password was wrong. After waiting five minutes, the PC froze up again when I tried to restart it. The picture wouldn't come back on either time. I'm going to buy a new CMOS battery and some thermal paste to try again.

The new battery isn't working at all. The screen stays black. Let's swap out the processor first, then maybe change the motherboard if that still fails.

So I tried a stick and it booted up again. My system said fan error and I fixed that one too, but since it's Sunday I went to my aunt for lunch while the pc ran to see if it freezes. Last time it froze after 10 minutes, if it doesn't freeze I'll try another ram.
