I didn’t make any changes. The PC was functioning normally before. The issue occurred after I put it to sleep for a few minutes, then tried to turn it back on. It was still in sleep mode when the power button flashed, and turning it off and back on caused the problem.
Could the power switch be broken? Edit: confirmed, the computer appears to boot up...
I haven’t replaced every connector. They’re mostly fine, though that’s about it. I’ve tested one stick of RAM.
Suggest a complete repositioning of all connections, starting with the main power cable. Experiment by removing non-essential components to determine if progress continues during startup. If you have a PC speaker (the coin-shaped one with two wires), connect it and listen for a beep code. Without one, you can purchase a basic model for under $5.
