Not long ago I transferred my PC to university and after shipping it, it stopped working with just two RAM sticks. Each stick operated separately in any of the four slots but not together. I stayed with it for a while but eventually fixed the issue. When power was turned on, the fans spun at full speed and there was no display output. The motherboard debug lights indicated a RAM failure. I attempted to update the BIOS to the latest version but had no success. It seems the problem might lie with the motherboard itself, and I suspect it could be a software-related issue since replacing it would likely be problematic. The components listed are from MOBO - MSI B450 tomahawk max, BIOS version E7C02AMS.3D0, RAM - 2x Corsair Vengeance 8GB, CPU - AMD 3600, GPU - RTX 2060, PSU - Corsair TX550. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Have you attempted to reset the CMOS? If not, consider checking if the problem lies with the memory channel. Experiment by placing two sticks in the same channel—opposite of the recommended setup—and observe if it resolves the issue.

Thank you for the update. I attempted to reset the CMOS but didn’t make any changes. I’ve already tested various combinations of RAM sticks and slots.
