PC fails to upload after changing cases
Building: CPU Ryzen 3700x Motherboard - x570 Phantom Gaming 4 RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 16GB Graphics card - MSI RX 580 PSU - RM650x High Performance Graphics Card I recently upgraded my setup from an older case to a Fractal Design Define R6. All components were transferred into the new case, but when powering it up, nothing displayed properly. The CPU and RAM lights flashed briefly before turning off, and the motherboard also lit both. Without the GPU, the GPU indicator appeared as well. I tested the system by breadboarding it and then reinstalling it in my previous case with a different GPU and PSU, but the same issue persisted. I’m uncertain whether the problem lies with the CPU or the motherboard. However, I suspect the motherboard might be faulty since it shows a RAM error even though the RAM functions correctly now. The CPU performed perfectly before the case change. I’m using the PSU, RAM, and GPU in another system, confirming they work fine. I’m unsure if I damaged something during the move. I’m open to replacing either or both parts, but I want certainty so I don’t have to deal with returns or replacements. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
