PC fails to start with RAM installed in channels B1 or B2
Hey everyone, I'm facing a problem with an older system I'm testing in a bench. Whenever I insert two of my four RAM sticks into slots B1 and B2, the PC doesn't recognize them. I've tried different sticks and kits, even swapping one pin back on the motherboard, but nothing seems to fix it. I've checked the 775 pin layout and marked the pin in question. My specs include an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, a stock cooler, and a P5K Deluxe motherboard. The other machine I have works fine with a Q9300 and a different cooler. I'm not sure what's causing this issue.
Tried exchanging CPUs with the Q9300, seems like there are just two empty slots. Appreciate the assistance!
