hello i recently changed to this setup
R7 7800X3D
Asrock B650e pg riptide
RTX 3080 Galax
Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB 2x32GB
my bios at 1.21 works fine with XMP 5600 profile, no issues.
after updating bios to 1.28 i enabled xmp but saved and restarted. then my pc wouldn't boot.
is there a problem with 1.28? should i upgrade to 1.29 even though it's in beta? thanks.

Did you read this information?
The first boot with XMP/EXPO activated will require more time to train compared to the previous BIOS. The Debug LED will remain on DRAM and flash for a few minutes before the system returns to normal boot speed. Wait a bit longer after flashing due to the BIOS flashback feature on your motherboard. If it doesn’t work, try the beta version; if that fails, consider using flashback.

yes i did read that, but i’m not sure exactly how "longer" it is since it usually takes around 30 seconds for normal, and i’ve been waiting over 10 minutes.
i chose to downgrade to 1.24 and can use XMP just like before.
