In fact, I'm turning off the monitor manually at shutdown. I don't let it enter standby mode. I'll try standby mode and check if the problem persists. Perhaps that was the cause when it stopped working temporarily. I'll test it and let you know. Thanks!
That's most likely what it is. Unless you have a specific reason for manually turning off the monitor every time there isn't really a need to normally. If it's in standby it's basically off. If reasoning is to conserve power it doesn't really save you much by turning it off vs leaving it in standby. If you still want to manually turn it off you'll just need to remember to turn the monitor on prior to powering on the PC to prevent that issue.
Thanks for the feedback! I began keeping it in standby mode, and since then the problem disappeared. It's strange to me. I've never experienced this issue before. The more I consider it, the more I think it began about a year ago when I purchased an LG OLED Ultrawide display. Perhaps how the panel communicates with the system is the reason. Either way, keeping it in standby was the solution. Appreciate the advice!
