Pc fails to start on PSU causing unusual sounds upon connection to the motherboard
PC fails to boot and EZ indicator lights remain off
New PC has stopped working after replacing most components during an RMA process. About a month ago I started assembling it, but it still won’t power on. I’ve taken it to a local repair shop twice before, and both the motherboard and CPU were returned from NewEgg. The issue persists despite those returns. This morning was my final attempt to fix it, and now the PSU is making an unusual grinding noise. The only consistent sign of activity between tries is that the flash bios light turns on when the button is pressed.
Update: I performed a paper clip test and the PSU fans are working without any sound. I also bench tested the motherboard, but the problem continues.
