I'm experiencing a VGA issue, unsure if my graphics card ID is correct. The PC starts up but displays a VGA error with a red light. All parts are new. I've swapped the GPU in and out, tried booting without it, but the error persists. The motherboard and CPU details are as listed.

Your power supply unit is what I have listed. It seems like you're unsure if it's a single PCIe power cable with a splitter, but I can't confirm that for sure.

Have you attempted removing all RAM modules and reinserting them? A similar issue occurred with my system, where restarting resolved the problem.

Which specific Z690 Aorus Elite motherboard is available? Does it come with a BIOS that supports the latest CPU models? Older boards often require a BIOS upgrade to work with modern CPUs.

I'm just getting started with this process. If you're unsure about the beginning stages, feel free to ask for clarification!

Check the motherboard page you shared. It looks like a Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Elite DDR4 Rev 1x board. Make sure your BIOS update matched the model details.

Absolutely, at PSU and GPU levels you'll need two distinct power cables. Using a splitter isn't enough since it only provides one connection.
