Not long ago, my computer had just one SSD for booting and another HDD. Recently, I replaced the SSD with a new one and installed it in the second slot. Now, whenever I power on the PC, it freezes at the UEFI screen unless I press F11 to choose the boot drive (which is the one after formatting the second HDD). It works fine once I select it. The issue continues even after turning off and restarting the machine. The motherboard model is ASRock B660m HDV.

This adjustment switched the boot sequence to the updated storage device. Navigate to UEFI/BIOS settings and set it to the earlier SSD as the primary boot drive, restoring the previous behavior.

The system uses just one boot device, and it hasn't been modified.

Disconnected the second SSD, restarted the PC, reinserted the SSD, and restarted again. Everything is working now.
