I changed my RAM placement to try fixing the video signal issue, but after doing so, my PC won’t boot. The RGB lights on the motherboard flicker when I power on the power supply, and the CPU error light is lit though the fans aren’t spinning or anything else is moving. I’ve checked all RAM sticks in each slot, tried different configurations, and even used a Verge 2/3 setup, but nothing resolved the problem. I replaced my CMOS battery and touched the pins on the motherboard multiple times without success. Am I really supposed to re-seat my CPU? And how can I remove my Scythe Fuma 2 CPU cooler safely without damaging it?

Check if accessing the BIOS is possible and verify whether it displays your RAM details along with correct frequency and timing settings.

I’m unable to access the bios through the GPU at the moment since the monitor is connected there. I can attempt using an HDMI cable and check if that resolves the issue. Previously, I was running RAM at 2133 MHz because enabling XMP pushed it up to 3600 MHz, which caused crashes.

The crashing you experienced at a higher frequency seems to indicate the BIOS requires an update. I encountered the same problem, which resolved it. Are you actively posting? Do you see any output on your screen?

Ensuring the monitor stays connected to the GPU. Checking if linking directly to the motherboard affects performance.

Disconnect the power source from the motherboard for ten seconds. It seems the XMP profile was still active, possibly causing an issue, so reinsert the RAM carefully.

I've already attempted it several times, but the PC has remained unstable when using XMP settings.

Attempting to reinsert the memory using the MoBo might indicate insufficient pressure to secure it properly. This occurred recently during a new build when I waited for Crucial RAM to arrive. I assumed the sticks were present but they weren’t fully locked in. Removing the MoBo and installing the RAM produced a solid click, and the system booted successfully.
