Hi. There seems to be an unusual issue with my computer. I’m trying to understand what happened. Yesterday night, my PC entered sleep mode but kept flashing bright lights (the RAM indicators). I had to shut it down by pressing the power button. When I turned it back on in the morning, it booted up but didn’t show anything on the monitors. I checked the motherboard and pressed “clear CMOS,” which stopped the system from starting. The only light came from the motherboard, showing a liquid cooler view, but no further action. I removed the battery to try a hard reset and updated the BIOS, but it still wouldn’t boot. Could you help me figure out what might have caused this?

RAM: 48 GB Corsair dominator (max MHZ)
Test with a single stick in slot A2.
For resetting CMOS, unplug from power, turn off display, remove CMOS battery, hold power button for 30 seconds to discharge, then reinstall after 30 minutes.
This high-end system didn’t surprise me with problems after a hard reset…

Motherboard: asus rog Maximus Z890 hero ATX
It features an Asus motherboard; some refer to it as Asux. For context, what BIOS version were you using before updating the BIOS on the board?

Thanks for your time!
I tried removing 1 stick of RAM and tried to reseat them in different positions, still no boot, the RAM doesn't light up either which I think it did before prior to the CMOS clear
I tried the hard reset but still no boot, sounds like it could be a motherboard issue? That's very disappointing for such an expensive board I just don't understand how a "clear CMOS" button click broke the entire board
Bios update was Version 1501 (most recent I believe).
