You just purchased a new 2TB Seagate Firecuda HDD for backup storage. It hasn’t been formatted yet, and when you connect it via SATA and power it on, it doesn’t boot to Windows but stays on the boot screen. Your current storage setup looks like this: Sandisk SSD Plus 240GB (boot drive), WD Black 500GB HDD (empty), Kingston A2000 1TB NVMe SSD (for games and media), and a Gigabyte DS3H motherboard. Need assistance getting it ready to boot?

You can simply remove and reinsert it. Also, confirm the power is connected after resetting the CMOS.

Occasionally, some MBs lose a few SATA ports during NVME installation. Switch the port your drive is connected to and see if it resolves the issue.

Boot should work normally, but it might not detect the drive...

CMOS clearing didn't resolve the problem, so Will is testing another approach. Ikr? Why isn't it working?

No, try to disable the boot process.
