PC fails to start after installing the new AIO cooler.
I swapped in a new H60 cooler and reassembled the PC. It won’t power on at all—no response when plugging in or pressing the case button. The PSU is active on the physical switch, and the power cable seems correct. Only a red light in the motherboard indicates the MOBO is getting power. I’ve reused all cables without success. The issue might be with the MOBO itself or a faulty connection. Any advice would be appreciated.
Ensure the cooler is properly seated and verify the connection isn<|pad|>, not overly tight.
I kept the CPU unchanged and only adjusted the cooler. I reinstalled it again, this time not fully tightening the screws, but still nothing happened.
Thank you for the idea. I attempted it, but it didn't go through.
I managed to short the USB connectors, which caused a light on the motherboard. However, I can't short the Power-button connector—it's strange.
