Hello, I’m starting this with the understanding that this is my first attempt to modify PC parts. It was a gift from my uncle a few years ago, so I’m not very familiar with the setup. My goal is to upgrade my graphics card. The computer starts up normally, but the monitor doesn’t receive any signal over HDMI. I took out the new GPU and reinstalled the old one to check for BIOS or driver issues. It still shows the same no signal problem, even though everything else seems to power on correctly (lights and fans). I’ve also tried booting without the GPU and using the CPU’s built-in graphics, but that didn’t help. Lastly, I tested the HDMI cable itself—it worked from PS4 to TV.

Details:
- Processor: Intel Core i5-10400F @ 2.90GHz, 2904 MHz, 6 cores
- Motherboard: MSI Mag Bazooka (CPU likely)
- Power Supply: Seasonic S12III 650
- OS: Linux Mint Cinnamon

Additional info:
*Specs: Intel Arc B580 (new GPU), GTX 960 (old GPU), PSU S12III, MSI Mag Bazooka*
*OS: Linux Mint Cinnamon*

EDIT 2: The problem seems to have disappeared. The new GPU is installed and the PC is functioning properly, with the display working again.
Thanks!

It seems you're experiencing no signal from your integrated graphics. Let's troubleshoot that together.

When attempting to power it up, do you notice any diagnostic lights on the motherboard? These might be labeled "VGA" or "CPU," possibly located in the upper right corner, though their position could vary.

What processor are you using? Its type can affect whether it includes built-in graphics. If you're running tests with a graphics card, connect the HDMI cable to the card, not the motherboard.

The problem continues to occur even when HDMI is not directly linked to the GPU.

Which processor was used? Was the PCIe power cable connected to the GPUs?
