I recently assembled a new PC a few weeks ago—a Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX V2, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Hellhound 7900X, and Trident Z5 RGB 6400 CL32. After weeks of smooth operation, I noticed the issue around the time of a Windows update. Upon restarting, my screen went black for about five minutes before displaying a boot failure warning about component compatibility. I was given an option to reset everything to defaults and try again. After rebooting and enabling XMP profile, the problem returned. I ran a memory diagnostic test and everything came back normal. I’m unsure what to do next—planning a BIOS update but haven’t started yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ryzen faces issues with fast RAM, adjustments are needed for 6400 to function or using XMP with a 6000mhz boost.

6400 cl32 will likely run well. AMD suggests 6000 as the top performance setting. You might manage to boot with 6000 cl32. The 400 MHz gap won't matter much unless you're handling cloud servers, massive data sets, or high-frequency trading. In most cases, you'd notice only a slight fps variation—perhaps around 278 versus 265 at most.
