MoBo: GIGABYTE B550 Aorus Elite V2
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X

PSU: Corsair CX650
RAM: 2x Kingston FURY Beast 8GB 3600MHz DDR4 (KF436C17BB/8)
I recently assembled yet another PC for a friend, but it’s not functioning properly. I’ve never encountered this issue before and none of the forums I checked offered any solutions. The problem appears to be that everything seems to work normally when I power on the system—fans and LEDs operate—but peripheral devices fail to respond. Specifically, the connected mouse doesn’t activate, the keyboard remains unresponsive, and the display shows no signal. The PC doesn’t even load into the boot menu.
I suspected a potential BIOS incompatibility, but attempting a Q-Flash didn’t resolve the issue. I also tried disconnecting all components except the 12V ATX and the ATX itself, yet the Q-Flash+ process still fails to blink. My USB connection briefly appears active for a few seconds before dropping off.
I’ve also experimented with a different BIOS version, confirming that the process is being executed correctly and the FAT32 USB file (named GIGABYTE.bin) is intact. Clearing the CMOS didn’t help either, and no beeps were emitted.
I’m uncertain what else to try, but I suspect there might be a defect with this unit or the PSU isn’t sufficient. Despite having a similar PC, everything seems fine there. Still, I wanted to reach out for advice.
Please excuse any typos and thank you in advance!
Consider using a known functional power supply for safety. If that doesn’t work, you might disconnect the drives and remove all but one stick of RAM. It could also help to power up the board outside the case with just the CPU, cooler, one stick of RAM, and a monitor to check for activity. You might also try removing all the RAM to see if errors appear. This could indicate a faulty board or PSU, though the RAM itself might be questionable too.
Try using a single RAM module in slot A2.
First, extract the BIOS file from the zip archive.
The BIOS file must be named gigabyte.bin (not GIGABYTE.bin).
Use a small capacity USB flash drive (32GB or less) with FAT32 formatting.
Select the correct USB port for Q-Flash plus, following the motherboard user manual.
Unplug all front panel connections (USB/Audio) and fans (except CPU fan).

Introduction I just posted a new YouTube video titled "How to Flash the Gigabyte B550 AORUS MASTER BIOS with Q-Flash Plus". The video guides you through every step needed to activate the Q-Flash Plus feature on this board.
Final Words This video seems really helpful...

If you can, include a photo of your system with the front panel removed.
Upload it to imgur.com and share the link.
I have tested both gigabyte.bin and GIGABYTE.bin with all components, as well as with just 12V ATX, ATX, one with only CPU and dual RAM, another with CPU and single RAM. None worked, but I also tried a 64GB drive 3.0 (though I'm unsure if that's compatible). I plan to try my 32GB model next, though I'm not sure about the version. I also wanted to know whether unplugging everything or leaving it as is would be better. The format was always FAT32, and I connected via the USB port labeled BIOS. Thank you for your response.
I unfortunately don't have another fitting PSU. I have tried using only 1 RAM and powering outside didn't work either. How would I know for sure where the problem is? Can I somehow check the PSU or the RAM? Because fans and rgb all working which are connected to both PSU and MoBo so I don't know why they would work if there was a problem. Also as far as I know it doesn't make any beep on startup so that's why I wrote no POST but I could be looking after the wrong thing.
Still thank you for your reply.
Tell me if you need anything else.

(first time hope this works)
The absence of a fan on the CPU cooler might be due to proper thermal management, reduced airflow needs, or a design choice to prevent dust accumulation.
I installed them out of sight for better visibility. The GPU isn’t connected to the case due to the number of times I had to remove it. I also unplugged the SSD, leaving some cables exposed.
EDIT: forgot to mention
It seems like nothing is functioning properly, so I asked my friend to return it. Thanks to everyone who tried to assist. Have a great day.
