PC fails to post following incomplete GPU driver installation update
First, turn off all unnecessary devices except the GPU, keyboard, and monitor. Connect the monitor to the integrated graphics card and attempt to boot into safe mode. Try disconnecting the hard drive and see if you can access the BIOS. If you have another machine nearby, check if the drive appears there. Use CrystalDiskInfo to view the disk details and back up any crucial files.
Performing proper clearing of CMOs or shorting the two pins should return you to the stock settings.
Can a knife perform this task? Since my PC isn’t at home but at my study, and I only have the basics with me, I’ve already attempted using a knife but didn’t get any results.
No post yet, but here’s what I see from a screenshot of crystaldiskinfo from about a month ago. That’s all I have right now. Also, I don’t really focus on data—mostly games, since I just got a fresh Windows 10 install and only downloaded games since then.
