This is my fourth post on this matter and its driving me crazy since i just cannot find what is wrong with my pc. My pc only crashes when ive shut it down beforehand, and before it was just a 2-4 minute freeze and i get an error which makes me leave the games tab and lets me close it afterwards i just put my pc on sleep whenever i dont use it so i dont crash again. but recently it just straight up freezes the entire pc and no error message shows and i will have to force shut down the pc or restart. which then starts a cycle of just crashing whenever i try to play a game. (valley and heaven benchmark also causes crashes) I think the error messages helps because it gets me out of the tab of the crashed game somehow. im not very sure if my pc still functions while its still frozen because my music will continue to play in the background. In my recent post in this matter i was told it was a Kernel 41 power error and was told that its likely to be a psu problem which i very much believe because i have a pretty bad PSU. so i brought it to a technician and was told that it was a gpu problem. I thought this was fat BS and tried my gpu on my sisters PC and ran uniengine valley for 1 hour and 30 minutes and not a single hiccup. (it probably would freeze by 3 minutes in mine) On the old post i was told it was a PSU problem so i tried my sisters power supply too but for some reason it still just crashes? Another very odd thing is that i used BurninTest and tested the CPU, GPU, Hard drives and Ram and it passed it with flying colors and didnt even crash once (i did the individual test for each and then the 3 minute test) Ive tried almost everything apart from a CPU swap, Bios update and a full on reformat. and also im just waiting for my new psu to come because i know mine is bad PC PARTS LIST Ryzen 5 3600 Power color RX 570 HyperX 16 gb ram (2x 8gb) MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX motherboard ACEpower 650w 80+ bronze powersupply
