PC fails to establish a connection with the WiFi network once it exits sleep mode.
I connect a USB WiFi dongle to my desktop PC. Occasionally, after restarting, it fails to reconnect to the network. To resolve this, I disconnect the dongle and then reattach it to another USB port. This issue occurs with two different dongles. It seems connected to my speed tests on the desktop, which are much slower than on my laptop—around 30 Mbps versus over 600 Mbps even at the same router distance. I’ve turned off the power-saving feature for the dongle in Device Manager and disabled its sleep option in power settings. However, it still powers down after a few hours of inactivity.
