PC fails to boot following RAM upgrade.
Hey everyone, I just upgraded my setup with some additional RAM. I added two more sticks from my existing 2 DIMMs—Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz (2x8GB). Placing them in the first and third slots gives me a total of four 8GB sticks at 3200MHz across all slots. My system isn’t booting up, and I’m still using an ASUS ROG Strix B365-F motherboard capped at 2666MHz with an i7 9700K. I’m new to BIOS settings, so any suggestions would be great. I’ve re-seated everything and double-checked they’re firmly in place. Thanks ahead! For reference, here’s the memory kit: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/memory/c...m2c3200c18
It seems you need to correct the memory details. Both your system and the BIOS are set to 3200MHz, and the RAM is from version 2.20.1271 running in dual-channel mode. I'll update the existing post accordingly.
