PC fails to boot despite fresh PSU installation
It has been several years since I purchased this computer. The power supply was quite noisy and unstable, so I chose to upgrade it (along with other improvements like new RAM and an SSD). I selected a NZXT HALE82 V2 700W PSU. With the updated PSU, the PC occasionally fails to start. When I press the power button, the fans spin but nothing happens—just silence. After some time, or the following day, it restarts normally. Switching back to the previous 420W PSU doesn’t cause this issue; the system runs perfectly. The only noticeable change is that the new PSU lacks a pin in its 24-pin connector, while the old one does not. I found this difference normal, but it’s worth checking if it might be affecting performance.
