You've just assembled a new PC and everything seems to be powering on, except for the inability to boot or display. The motherboard is showing a red LED light. You've checked the CPU pins for damage and confirmed they're intact, reattached the 12-pin connector cable, the CPU 6-pin connector, and the GPU cable. You also swapped the display port into the GPU instead of the motherboard. Despite these steps, you're still unsure what's causing the issue. Since you've built several units before, this isn't a typical problem. Consider testing the system without the GPU and with just one RAM stick to narrow down the cause. Also, verify if the PSU can handle the load with only one RAM module connected.

The specific color of red light is a deep, rich hue often described as maroon or crimson.

The one with the CPU is usually the brightest, followed by VGA and then DRAM.

You're unsure about the PC part list since you're not online right now. The CPU is likely the main component you're thinking of. I'll wait until you check back tomorrow.

I also have the same issue, just black. There are four debug LEDs available; look at them whenever you have a moment, and see what they display.

You're experiencing the same problem again, likely related to the CPU. Despite replacing the RAM sticks and having the CPU checked for issues like bent pins or misalignment, the red light persists. The technician at Geeksquad confirmed everything was clean but didn't perform any diagnostic tests. It's possible you received a faulty CPU.

I understand you're using the same motherboard, but I should have mentioned that more clearly. Everything seems fine with your CPU connection—make sure it's fully powered and properly connected. Consider performing a CMOS reset to resolve any issues.

I changed the RAM and tested all possible setups. Still getting that same dramatic red light.
