PC Specifications: Motherboard – ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI, Processor – AMD Ryzen 9 7900X (12 cores, 4701 MHz), GPU – ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 AMP Extreme, PSU – 1000W Corsair RM1000x, RAM – DDR5 32GB (2×16GB, 6000MT/s), temperatures normal during shader compilation. Sometimes crashes occur when compiling games like Marvel Rivals or Monster Hunter Wilds; I’ve tried undervolting the GPU, updating BIOS, chipset, drivers, cleaning DDU, rolling back drivers, enabling power saving, adjusting core count, changing max processor state, adding RAM, swapping PSU and cables. Unclear why only my PC shuts down while others run.]

Have you attempted to reclaim the card? It may indicate a broader issue with the card itself. Another possibility is a faulty pie slot; you could switch slots and then reclaim it if needed. Also, could you clarify what type of storage device you're referring to?

I noticed too that during crashes the BSOD message appears with DPC watchdog warning for Windows 11, Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus, and 500GB.

Are you familiar with running an SFC or DISM update? Also, shader compilation is a CPU-intensive process, so I'm focusing on that. Please remount the CPU and reduce any overclocking.

Check the performance after reseating the CPU without any overclocking.

I replaced the CPU and put fresh thermal paste, which seems to have made a difference since I can now access the loading shaders section, though the blue screen persists with the same issue.

I think the motherboard is defective.

Have you checked Crystal Disk Info or another tool to verify your SSD's condition? There was a problematic batch of Samsung SSDs a few years back that failed early because of faulty firmware. This might lead to similar problems.

I'll attempt it immediately. I also ran a new Windows installation but the issue persists.
