PC experiences sporadic crashes following the Windows 11 upgrade
Hello, I’m trying to figure out this issue and feel completely stuck. About two months ago, I upgraded my PC to Windows 11, but it has been experiencing frequent freezes, sometimes at random times. It’s been quite frustrating since the problem started. I use the computer for various tasks, mainly YouTube and video games. The freezing seems to happen without any reason—whether I’m idle or playing a game, it doesn’t matter. This situation is really puzzling.
At first, I thought it was just a normal upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11. But once the crashes began, I performed a full reinstall and even reformatted all my drives to make sure everything was clean. That didn’t solve anything.
After the reinstall and formatting, I ran several diagnostics: CHKDSK, DISM repair, and Microsoft’s memory diagnostic tool. All came back with no issues. I checked my BIOS settings for any accidental overclocking—there wasn’t one. My BIOS is up to date, and all required drivers were functioning properly. The problem still persisted.
I decided to use Event Viewer to try and identify the cause. I’ve attached a screenshot of the recurring events.
I also took my PC through a 3DMark Extreme Benchtest, which didn’t crash it either. My temperatures are normal for the tasks I run. The CPU voltage fluctuates between about 1.3 and 1.45 depending on the workload. I’m running out of ideas about what might be behind this issue and don’t have much more to test.

i did a complete fresh install of Windows 11
Did you recreate your bootable USB installer for the OS? Disconnecting all drives from your system except for the one you wished to install the OS onto? Installing the OS in
offline mode
? Manually installing all necessary drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator while in offline mode?
my BIOS is up to date

For the sake of relevance, please mention the BIOS version for the motherboard?
(Liquid cooled but unsure of cooler make/model)
Pass on an image of the cooler and we should be able to tell what it is.
Power Supply - EVGA Supernova 850 GT Gold
How old is the PSU in your build?
If you need any more information I will do my best to provide it, this is all that currently comes to mind however.
Do you end up with a BSoD? Can you see if you have any .dmp files?
I downloaded the bootable USB installer myself. Before starting, I removed all external drives. I didn’t attempt an offline installation, unsure of the process. I’m also not confident about manually adding drivers in offline mode.
I’m not sure how old the power supply unit is—I received this PC as a gift and it was clearly a custom build. It hasn’t shown any BSOD; instead, it freezes and only stops when I press the power button to force a shutdown.
Here are the images I have (four in total):
