Hello everyone, this is my first message on the forum, so I'm sorry if it's not the right place for this.
My computer frequently crashes and restarts when I start demanding heavy tasks like games.
It doesn't occur every time, but only occasionally.
I've checked the temperature using both software tools and by testing the PC without any panels on, and I haven't noticed a spike above 70°C.
When idle, the temperature stays around 45°C.
I thought my power supply might be insufficient, but based on the estimated usage of about 600W and having an 850W supply with platinum rating, it seems reasonable.
The system specifications are:
CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 7900X (12-core)
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
OS Drive - Samsung SD 970 EVO Plus 1TB
Secondary Drive - SanDisk SDSSDA120G
CPU Cooler - Noctua NH-D15
RAM - 2x16GB DDR5 Kingston Technology Fury Beast at 5600MT/s
PSU - EVGA Supernova 850 P5
Case - Corsair 5000D Airflow
BIOS - American Megatrends Inc. version 1413
Motherboard - ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-PLUS WiFi 6E
The system is approximately six months old.
My OS uses the 970 EVO drive, and I have three Noctua fans with ARCTIC MX-4 thermal paste. The OS version is Windows 11 Enterprise 64-bit.
All drivers and the OS appear to be up to date.
I'm seeking additional perspectives on how to resolve this problem, or if anyone has useful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Hey there,
Which specific PSU are you using? How long has it been in use? Your current BIOS details are available via CPU-z. Also, please let me know your RAM, case type, and CPU cooler information.

Sorry buddy, which memory module?
Run memtest86+ on the RAM, separate from Windows. Let's begin by eliminating what we can.
PSU looks fine, though it might be nearing its limit. We'll check that as we proceed.

Your bio is quite old. This might be the reason. You can find the most recent versions here:
https://www.asus.com/us/motherboard...sk...-PLUS-WIFI
Please rename your bios file according to the instructions in the link. After updating, clear the CMOS and set it to default. The update will improve memory compatibility, security, and performance.

Thank you for your interest! I was surprised to learn how outdated the BIOS is. I plan to update to the new version later today (I need to leave soon) and will also run memtest86. If you could share some advice or a guide on flashing a newer BIOS, it would be greatly appreciated since this has never been done before.

See this video for guidance. It should also appear in the motherboard manual.

Hi, thank you for your message. I understand this was a very busy and unusual time for me with limited gaming activity, which is why I haven't used the machine much recently. Now that I'm back, I've carried out the BIOS update, but the problem still seems to be happening. I know you might not be as involved anymore, but I really hope you're open to hearing more ideas or suggestions if you're interested.

Edit: I'd also really value any additional perspectives from others on this issue.
