Hello! I’m trying to confirm if I’m in the right discussion area. My new PC has been working well, but I’ve noticed my CPU frequently drops to around 1GHz every 10-15 seconds while playing games. It lasts about a second or two before it picks up again. This makes gameplay difficult and sometimes unplayable. I’ve attached some clips and screenshots for reference. If you have any ideas on why this happens, I’d appreciate your help. You can see the drop in the medal clip where the game freezes, and the Task Manager shows a quick dip from 4.5GHz to roughly 1-1.2GHz. Your PC specs are: Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3060, Corsair Vengeance 16GB 2x8GB DDR4 at 3200MHZ.
