PC specifications include a RX 580 2048SP GPU from Amazon, an i5-7400T CPU, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, H110M-R motherboard, and 2,500GB SSD storage. Running graphics-heavy games causes the system to freeze, though audio remains audible. The error message recorded was VIDEO_ENGINE_TIMEOUT_DETECTED (141). I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, tested various ones, flashed GPU bios, and set a CPU power limit to rule out hardware issues. Windows appears to attribute the problem to the GPU, but no custom drivers came with it. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Make is VIDA. The PSU needs to be at least 3 or 4 months old. The installer sources for my games include Epic Games Launcher, Steam, and Rockstar Launcher. Version 4210 is used for the BIOS.
The category-f unit is offering a reason to purchase a new PC if your current one is damaged or outdated.
I didn't assemble the computer, so it's best to install a fresh PSU right away.
