I looked into this but I’m wary of those odd sites, so I came here for help. My computer suddenly slows down no matter what I do—whether idle, streaming, or playing tough games. It’s not just the game causing the lag; it’s my whole system. In real life, it takes about 2 to 4 seconds before it stops working, which is nowhere near the half-second delays shown in videos. In those clips, it looks like the video just jumps over what’s happening while the stutter occurs. What actually happens is that everything starts missing a few frames, audio gets choppy, and the mouse also skips. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 3600, non-X GTX 2060, 6GB RAM, a 1TB HDD, a 250GB SSD, and a 2023 Desktop. The file listed is 0914(1).mp4.
Ryzen models had some issues that might cause the problems you're seeing, but only if your BIOS is not up to date. Notable Ryzen fTPM delays, outdated Agesa 1.2.0.3 problems, USB performance issues, etc. Check your board's BIOS version: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B45...rt-dl-bios. If your BIOS is older than F40, you should update it to F40 before installing any newer updates.
