Interesting, why would only NFS generate heat? I've pushed the GPU much harder than with heat and it never emitted any RF signals in other games.

I'm not sure about that. It might appear alongside other games, but it sounds stronger with this one for an unclear reason. If you're keen on hamstuff because you have a better-than-usual Baofeng, consider getting an RTL-SDR and maybe a near-field antenna. Check the frequency in AirSpy and try loading some games to see what works.
