Hello everyone
I own a PC with the following specifications: i5 3470, GTX 1050 Ti, 8 GB RAM, H61 MX2 motherboard.
A week ago I watched some YouTube videos and suddenly my computer froze, showing green and white squares on the screen before going black. I forced it to shut down and rebooted, but every time it restarts to desktop it freezes again with those squares appearing. After reseating the GPU it worked for about five days. Then the issue returned unexpectedly. I rebooted again, but now whenever Windows logo appears, my PC freezes after a while. I suspect the GPU is dead. I had another old GPU, the GT 210, lying around and replaced it. It functioned initially, but after shutting down, it never worked again. I also tried using integrated graphics, but the same problem occurred. I’m convinced the integrated GPU is still active because once I connected it to a second monitor it worked properly. I rechecked cables, cables connections, the monitor, and everything seemed fine. There were no overheating issues, and I reset the CMOS, which improved performance in games.

Any suggestions? I’ve been saving to buy this PC and only had it for about four months. Thanks.

What are the odds that the issue lies with the power supply? It's been old and I previously owned it, but it functioned properly when I used it.

It seems fine, could you attempt using a different PCIe slot?
