I recently purchased and assembled my gaming PC. Initially, I had just 16GB of RAM and everything functioned perfectly. I upgraded it to 64GB, but now when running demanding 4K games, my system crashes after just a minute or two. Should I replace my power supply? The parts listed include an Intel Core i7-12700K, a Hyper 212 cooler, a Z690 motherboard, and several RAM and storage components. My PSU is Corsair RMx 850 W with Gold certification.

It looks like the new RAM might be faulty. Try removing it and testing again. Next, isolate just the new RAM and check each stick individually to confirm the issue. You could also run memtest86 for further verification. Welcome to the forums!

Thank you for your message. The system functions properly on Windows, displaying 64GB RAM. I once encountered a crash while rendering 4K gameplay, possibly due to GPU power limits, but normal operation occurs during regular gaming. After some time, it fails. Could the power supply unit be the issue?
