Hello, I'm a new PC builder facing some challenges. I installed my system recently (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/3YDnXk) and everything worked fine at first. Recently, while playing Forza Horizon 5, it crashes with a blank screen. Controls and background sounds like Spotify WebPlayer keep running even though the game stutters. Eventually, the whole PC restarts. My guess is related to power or GPU issues. I updated my GPU drivers, which are the latest from AMD. From past experiences, power problems seem likely. I checked the internal PCIe cables connecting the GPU to both PSU (Rm750e and 7800xt) and confirmed they’re properly seated and can’t be forced further. The external PSU cable also fits snugly. I use a power bar/extension cord for my system, which is linked in the provided link. Although I thought it was fixed, the problem appears intermittent now. It’s hard to reproduce when the PC is plugged into the wall while running FH5 or Furmark. Any advice would be appreciated—please let me know if you need more details!
This appears to be a software or driver-related problem rather than a power or hardware concern.
Absolutely right, everything fits perfectly. I’ll try DDU first, and it should be safe to run a SFC or scannow command. I’ll also do some troubleshooting on my own if needed. I have both a 7800XT and an RN850E, but they’re mostly the same PSU except for higher wattage.
