The issue I encountered about 1.5 to 2 months ago involves a PC that behaves strangely during gaming sessions. Sometimes it shuts down abruptly, the power indicator stays lit, and pressing it doesn’t help. I’ve tried resetting or adjusting components like the GPU, RAM, and even changed the motherboard. The build includes an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, RX5700XT Sapphire, a 650W PSU, and several other parts. People suggest checking the motherboard or power supply as likely causes. Some recommend trying a new motherboard, especially since problems often occur with AMD sockets like the one used here.
Do you have any overclocks or PBO activated? I'm experiencing a similar issue with my overclocked 5600G. Whenever I pass a specific area in Diablo Immortal, the system crashes and restarts. It disappears when I turn off all overclocks and PBO settings. The problem seems linked to power spikes or protection mechanisms, not just CPU load. My overclock works fine in other programs, and Diablo Immortal doesn't heavily tax the CPU.
