Your computer is experiencing frequent freezing episodes shortly after closing games, sometimes with sudden crashes. Despite running chkdsk, sfc /scannow, clearing cache, and even reinstalling Windows, the issue persists. Could there be another cause? Please let me know.

Can you check Event Viewer for logs for the crash and right before it? Then post what you find on here?

This would indicate RAM struggles to clear itself following a game session. Would you like me to run a memory test? Please share the findings.

You didn't test the drive with MemTest86, so no issues were detected.

Your GPU is quite old. The stuttering you're experiencing is likely due to its age, especially during Steam updates and game launches. Once the initial load or shaders are handled, performance improves. It appears the GPU is nearing the end of its lifespan, but since you can't afford a replacement, you're accepting this situation. The crashes after long gaming sessions are also consistent with hardware limitations at that stage.

It's a 3070 Ti model that's been around for about a year and a half.

I'll handle it when it arises, though it's a bit unpredictable.
