hey all
just bought some gear from eBay:
GIGABYTE Z390 GAMING X ATX
i9-9900K 3,6 GHz
2x16 32 GB RAM trident skill 3200
SSD + Win10
random cooler master cooler 120mm (not the 212 evo)
a chinese small case is available
would be fine if i’m building a second pc just in case

i need:
a power supply
i have a gpu (gtx 1660 evga) – would that slow down the cpu?
what do you think?

Uncertain if this specific cooler model pairs well with an i9-9900, especially in a compact Chinese case.
Do you think all components are included?
Will you purchase a brand-new power supply or a refurbished one?

The cooler is cooling down; not great.
An upright model blowing toward the back of the case would be better.
However, if you're okay with temperatures dropping slowly, it might work.
You can try different setups to see what suits you.
I don’t know your goals... or what you’re hoping for.

The 9900k is a very powerful processor. I think the cooler shown may limit its performance, and it probably needs to slow down its temperature to stay within safe limits.
