PC COD supports local split-screen mode.
Hi, I'm not really into Call of Duty, but a few friends in my dorm are interested in trying some split-screen FPS games on my PC. Do you know if there are any good shooters similar to COD that work well with Xbox controllers? I remember Modern Warfare 2 didn't support this feature. It seems like a niche topic, so sorry if this isn't helpful. Also, please don't post any negative comments about COD. I don't mind it either.
Splitscreen is available only on consoles. That's why the console edition of Cod is superior.
Black Ops 3 stands out as the sole COD on PC with splitscreen functionality, something I believe most consoles lack. I strongly suggest giving it a try—it's really impressive.
Wow, what an idiotic comment. I came from console and it frustrates me that there are a lack of split screen games for pc...split screen is not made for console, split screen is made for people who have real friends who come over and socialize, or to play with family members....not just for console. Me and the Mrs play some local co-op games on my 24" monitor at my desk, we have a laugh. All saying "split-screen is for console" does is hold the pc platform back, we have the power to max games out in split screen and yet people are so against it. The only reason cod is better on console is because devs don't care to much for pc when it comes to cod, although I bought black ops 1 the other week and I am having a better time on it than what I did on the 360. 144fps and 1440p dsr. Black ops 3 is good on my pc to, but I hate the movement.
It looks like you're making quick judgments without fully examining the details. You seem to assume you know more than you do, jumping from general ideas to specific claims. It's okay to have opinions, but sometimes it helps to look deeper before drawing conclusions.
He had a solid argument. The PC needs better split-screen support. It’s not a harsh complaint, just a personal view. You can also connect controllers to a PC and turn it into a more family-friendly setup.
