Components: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3d, Zotac RTX 3070, ROG Strix B550-A motherboard, 64 GB Corsair Vengeance 3600mhz RAM, Enermax Revolution D.F., 650W PSU (around 3 years old), new except for the motherboard. Built this PC about nine months ago. I haven’t modified any hardware recently, but the system powers off completely when I launch a game or run a GPU test. It feels like the power cuts out instantly. The only solution is to switch on the PSU and wait a few seconds. I’ve updated all drivers, reset the BIOS, and verified every power cable. Temperatures stay normal, never exceeding 65°C. I think the problem might be with the power supply—it shuts down for safety when under load. Any thoughts? I don’t want to waste 150€ on a better PSU just to fix this.

the psu appears to need some adjustments, possibly through undervolting which could assist, but you’ll likely need to upgrade it. I suggest a solid 850-watt unit.

You've identified the main problem correctly. It seems like you've made the most of this PSU.

You definitely need to address this, as it's a straightforward power supply concern. Unless you're comfortable with lowering the clock speed and reducing voltage on the board.

The Cultists Network appears to have relevant threads with similar data. I found your PSU on the list and explored further details. Newer items may take some time to appear, but established products are available. Typically, you should aim for devices in the A or B tiers, as they tend to be more reliable.

It seems you're experiencing issues with your NVIDIA 545.84 driver. Your PC began acting strangely after prolonged gaming sessions where the GPU workload increased, especially when joining online games. You reported a complete crash during a launch attempt, reaching 100% error before power failure and system reboot.
