CPU model: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X @ 4.9GHz
Cooler: Corsair iCUE H100i RGB Pro XT
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT SE Sapphire NITRO+ 16GB

Steps taken:
- Activated the default D.O.C.P. profile, but it failed to boot.
- Manually set frequency to 3600MHz, still no success.
- Changed D.O.C.P. to "Auto" and adjusted memory speed to 3600MHz, issue persisted.
- Updated BIOS, but the problem remains.

Conclusion: RAM cannot reach 3600MHz or higher under any configuration. The system requires automatic frequency setting for stability. Possible causes include motherboard compatibility, BIOS version, or hardware limitations.

The 5950X can handle up to 3200MHz, so anything beyond that is an overclock. Zen 3 offers better performance than older generations with improved IMCs, meaning most should reach at least 3600MHz unless you encountered issues. Have you experimented with using just two sticks instead of four? This also increases pressure on the IMC by occupying all slots. According to others on the forum, Corsair Vengeance sticks perform poorly when paired with Ryzen for this reason.

I've faced problems with 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600 sticks not reaching above 3200 on my 5900X/X570 Aorus Pro board. It seems like getting higher numbers is mostly luck, or maybe the memory controller handles too much load. You might try using two 16GB sticks or switching to a different RAM brand/model.

I've faced problems with 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600 sticks not reaching above 3200 on my 5900X/X570 Aorus Pro board. It seems like getting higher numbers is mostly luck, or maybe the memory controller handles too much load. You might try using two 16GB sticks or switching to a different RAM brand/model.

I noticed a mistake but followed the instructions carefully. It seems 5950X only handles up to 3200MHz and even overclocking isn't possible. Running two drives means I need 16GB each, which totals 32GB. I’ll switch RAM to something other than Corsair—G.Skill is the recommendation.

The main idea is to swap those items for alternatives that aren’t Corsair. I’m unsure why you noticed the formatting issue—it looked strange on your first post.

I faced the same issue with the corsair ram on my 5950x/X570 Tomahawk setup, but switched to G-Skill Trident Royal and it worked. They're running at 3600mhz with 14-14-14-30 settings.
