Interesting! I was thinking about whether I should focus more on using GPUs instead of relying too much on CPUs or finding a good mix of both. Maya and Vray for rendering depend quite a bit on CPU as well, but I want to take advantage of the RTX features and GPU rendering—it feels much quicker. That’s why I was planning to get the 4090, but you made me reconsider.

For interest, this was the response from ChatGPT. I’m interested in the reviews of AMD CPUs since I’ve heard they tend to overheat. I’m concerned that pairing a large GPU with a CPU will cause it to heat up quickly, and I’m wondering if the i9 model would be more reliable.

None of that adds much value.
If you're purchasing a Threadripper CPU, why opt for a 5000 SKU unless it offers a significant discount?
For a desktop CPU, why choose a 7000 series unless the 3D V-Cache is especially beneficial on the 7950X3D? It doesn't seem necessary based on what I understand.
You'll see a bit more performance from an AIO cooler, but it comes with risks like leaks and higher chances of failure. An air cooler will keep running as long as the fan is working.
The case I selected provides excellent airflow and includes some sound insulation.

I was just wondering about that. Appreciate the feedback.
I'm thinking about going for a more CPU-oriented setup with either a 4080Ti or 4090. I need to handle a lot of path tracing in Unreal, as well as the CPU/GPU power in Maya/VRay and the CPU performance in Houdini. Using more CPU seems like a better choice for my budget. Thanks!

Purchase the strongest CPU configuration available, opt for a replacement graphics card, and hold off until the 5000 series arrives for optimal performance.
