PC Build Help - URGENT
Hi Everyone, I'm working on assembling a PC with these specs: I9-9900K, 360MM MSI MAG AIO, Gigabyte Z390, Aorus Pro Gigabyte Aorus 2080TI Deepcool 750W Gold, 80+ Full Modular PSU. I tested it without the GPU and everything worked fine—boots, cables, fans, USB all connected. Once I installed the GPU and powered it on, the system started without any issues. After removing the GPU, the PC still wouldn't turn on and didn't show any power signal. This is really frustrating since it seems like a costly problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Reset the CMOS. Reassemble everything. Test one component at a time. Once done, connect the GPU and attempt to boot using I-gpu. Verify if the card is recognized.
Hi, the CMOS can't be reset because the motherboard isn't displaying power. When you supply power, it flashes, which means I can't even clear the CMOS. I've tried using a stick or RAM, but nothing works after reinstalling everything. The PSU is still functioning properly.
Remove it from the case and then attempt it. Check the socket for any bent pins.
You can reset CMOS by taking the battery out for 10 minutes or connecting two designated pins (check the manual for details).
After disconnecting the cables, I turned off the RGB fans. The system remained powered for a short time, and the motherboard displayed all RGB lights once it was switched back on without the fans. Thanks for your assistance!
