Hi, we are setting up a PC for CS GO and CS2. I wanted to check if everything is fine. The 240hz monitor is named XL2540K.
The specifications are fairly acceptable and sufficient, but a bit excessive for playing only CS:GO and CS2. For newer graphics-intensive games, these specs could be more beneficial in terms of performance.
I don't exclude other games, but I believe it will perform excellently, and I aim to avoid making any adjustments for an extended period.
Here are some thoughts:
Don't rush into saving $25 by opting for a F suffix processor. If you encounter graphics problems, integrated graphics can help. Game files are growing larger, so consider purchasing a 2tb M.2 card early. The Intel 670P is often a solid choice. Aiming for a long-term mechanical cooler won't last much longer—mechanical parts tend to fail or clog over time, and air leaks will eventually require replacement. Plan for about five years. A quality twin tower air cooler should suffice and likely be cheaper. The RTX 3000 series and newer cards can experience significant power spikes beyond their rated consumption. An 850w power supply might be more suitable. Also, look for a unit with a 7 to 10-year warranty for reliability. Corsair RMx or Seasonic focus models are good options.

Do you think dh15 is suitable? Can it manage CPU overclocking? Please suggest the best RAM for your motherboard, preferably affordable, and confirm if your existing frames will fit.
So regarding the prices, I’d prefer 7600x plus b650 + 650 mobo if you really want to overclock... Not sure why you need it with precision overdrive 🤷... The B650 can handle this and I’d opt for something more affordable on the case or SSD side while getting a better GPU. An 8GB RAM is a small amount for now...

Both options are 70% overkill for a 3070. I had a Ryzen 5 5500 and it loaded 3070 at 97%...

For the 13600k, here’s the recommended list:

For fitting, your case should accommodate coolers up to 165mm tall. The NH-D15 fits that requirement.
The main concern is ensuring there’s enough space for the RAM. Your RAM is 42.9mm tall.

There’s a 32mm gap. If the case offers more room, you could raise the fan height by 10mm.
Alternatively, switch to a 120mm front fan or relocate it to the rear.
