PC brand new after just one week, still not running smoothly at 3200 MHz RAM speed.
I purchased my new computer for a week and it worked smoothly at 3200 MHz. When the issue began, I updated the BIOS and retried at that frequency, but the problem persisted. I contacted my local PC service, who diagnosed it as a faulty motherboard. I swapped my ASUS X470F gaming card for an X570F gaming model, yet the issue remained unchanged, not improving even after 1-2 weeks. They then tested with two different Ryzen CPUs, a new PSU, and another compatible RAM setup, but still couldn’t get it to run at 3200 MHz. I suspect the power supply unit might be the culprit, as it seems to interfere with the motherboard’s performance. My current build includes an Asus X570F gaming (previously X470F), Ryzen 5 3600, G-Skill Tridentz RGB 2*8GB, Corsair TX-M 650W gold+ RX5700XT NVMe SSD 250GB.*
I adjusted my RAM speed from 2133 1.2V to 3200 1.35V as the default. I also attempted to reset the settings and turn on DOCP, but when the PC tried to restart it wouldn’t respond and I’m still using the latest BIOS version. It’s been two weeks since that issue started, and even local service technicians can’t identify the cause.
I haven't tried this before. After the BIOS update and CMOS reset, I used manual voltage and timings for CL16 18 18 38 1.35V. Saved the settings but still no results. After many attempts, I reset the BIOS again and enabled DOCP, but the same problems persist.
