Hello new builder, welcome! Your setup looks great, but you're facing some tricky issues during boot and XMP enablement. The PC runs fine otherwise, yet it freezes or shows a red LED when restarting or enabling XMP. You mentioned checking online resources but haven't found a solution. Here are a few possibilities to consider: the RAM might not be properly seated, the motherboard's BIOS settings could be misconfigured, or there might be a power delivery issue with the PSU. Also, ensure all components are compatible and that the GPU drivers are up to date. Let me know if you want more specific troubleshooting steps!

Have you checked if your motherboard's chipset and BIOS are up to date?

The motherboard officially handles up to 5200MHz, though unofficial use of faster memory might limit it to around 4000MHz with four sticks. Begin with XMP off at JEDEC base speed, add one RAM stick and verify it restarts normally. Proceed with two sticks as per the manual, then three, and finally four.

I upgraded the BIOS to version F30 and it now restarts successfully. However, the XMP 1 profile at 6400MHz isn’t working. Someone might have a better profile for your configuration—would you like suggestions? It could help to try a different profile or check compatibility settings.

Identify the available profiles in BIOS or via tools like CPU-Z (SPD tab). It should show the profiles saved directly on the memory cards.

In BIOS only the base model and XMP profile 1 are visible. To check for RAM overclocking, use CPU-Z to analyze your RAM specifications and see if you can adjust the settings beyond the default limits.

You can always boost your RAM's speed further. What we're aiming to verify is whether there are more XMP profiles available that simplify the process beyond manual overclocking. I suspect this particular RAM only supports one profile (all Vengeance series models, which are DDR4 even with XMP2.0), so it might be best to handle this yourself. Would you like me to recommend applying the first XMP profile, then adjusting the DRAM Frequency/Multiplier from 6400mhz to 6000mhz before saving and resetting? This should maintain all power settings and timing tweaks without needing a full manual setup. Reducing the frequency should help stabilize it.

Thanks in advance! I tested it on the 6000 and it caused a blue screen, so I switched to the 5200 instead. Someone mentioned the motherboard supports up to 5200 and it seems to be functioning well now. Appreciate the help!
