I'm working on an older build for a friend and have finished testing it recently. The system runs an i7 7700 H110M with 8GB DDR4 memory at 2666Mhz GT610. Last week I tested it for several hours using these settings. Today, when I tried to turn it back on, everything seemed fine except for a boot loop that kept happening when I unplugged the power. After removing the graphics card, the PC booted normally and worked perfectly. When I reinstalled it, it still started up without issues. This behavior is unusual—could indicate a hardware or driver problem? Let me know if you need further guidance.

Maybe the GPU was a bit loose. It’s likely it was shifted or bumped, allowing it to slip out just enough to avoid touching the PCIe slot. Make sure the small clip stays firmly in place so this doesn’t repeat. Alternatively, the PC might have had a moment of hesitation and corrected itself when you swapped in and out the GPU.

I made sure the clip was completely secured before powering it on. Recently, I haven’t used the system for a few days and left it sitting in my desk without any cover or power source. However, you might be correct—the GPU could have shifted even though it clicked into place and everything seemed tight. I didn’t include that the device came without a case, as my friend had one. Thanks for your advice!
